Fall CLE Seminar

AIM= s annual fall CLE
seminar is planned for Friday, November 30, 2007, at the Boutwell Auditorium in
Birmingham. This is the 18th year AIM has offered a malpractice
prevention CLE seminar free to its insureds. Seminar agenda includes a special
guest speaker, Harry W.R. Chamberlain, II, Esq., of Buchalter Nemer in Los
Angeles, who will speak on the "Seven Deadly Sins" of legal malpractice. Other
topics include ethics, avoiding fraud in mortgage lending transactions,
practical problems associated with collecting fees from your clients, criminal
law update, pitfalls in domestic relations practice and problems in real estate

AIM insureds can register on line. Non-AIM insureds are welcome
to attend, space permitting, for a fee of $150. Non-AIM insureds can register
via mail using the CLE seminar brochure mailed to them or by calling AIM at
205-980-0009 and requesting one. AIM offers its seminar to others at low cost as
a service to the practicing bar. Advance registration is strongly encouraged.
The seminar is accredited by Alabama State Bar's Mandatory
Continuing Education Commission for 6.1 hours (including 2.3 hours of ethics).
Parking is available nearby in a municipal parking garage for a fee of $8.00.
