Chamberlain to Speak at Fall CLE Seminar
Harry W.R. Chamberlain, II, Esq., a shareholder in the Los
Angeles firm of Buchalter Nemer is AIM=
s special guest speaker at its Fall Malpractice Prevention CLE Seminar to be
held in Birmingham on November 30, 2007. His talk "The Seven Deadly Sins:
Why Attorneys Get Stung by Juries in Legal Malpractice Cases," examines the most
common mistakes made by attorneys that lead to malpractice suits. Mr.
Chamberlain has extensive experience in lawyer=
s professional liability defense. He litigates complex cases on behalf of
professionals with special concentration on post-trial remedies and appeals.
Mr. Chamberlain is licensed to practice in California, North
Carolina, the District of Columbia and the United States Supreme Court. During
his career, he has also served as general counsel for a West Coast professional
liability insurer, and managed the Law Department of Royal Insurance7
based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Mr. Chamberlain has argued hundreds of appeals in California and
other jurisdictions. Voted by his peers as one of Southern California=
s Super Lawyers in 2006 and 2007, he lectures and writes extensively for bar
associations on a variety of topics concerning professional liability, legal
ethics and insurance. In 2008, he will be president-elect of California Defense
Counsel, the nation= s largest
regional association of civil defense trial attorneys.
